Upchurch Origins
Upchurch Vineyard brings more than 30 years of Bordeaux-style winemaking to Washington State’s famed Red Mountain AVA. Our mission is to passionately craft exceptional wines that authentically reflect the terroir of Washington State’s renowned Red Mountain AVA and the passion of every individual involved. With a commitment to sustainable practices and a dedication to excellence in every step of the winemaking process, we aim to delight enthusiasts with wines of unparalleled quality and distinction, while honoring the rich heritage and pioneering spirit of our region’s winemaking legacy.

Upchurch Vineyard is an 18.5-acre site uniquely situated on a small plateau at the southern tip of the Red Mountain AVA in Washington State. From its inception, the vineyard has been sustainably farmed and certified by L.I.V.E. It is also certified “salmon safe” to protect our watersheds. Established in 2007, Upchurch Vineyard is owned and operated by Winemaker, Chris Upchurch, and his wife, Thea Upchurch. Chris has been and continues to be the Founding Winemaker and Partner at DeLille Cellars and specializes in bold Washington State Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
